Welcome to our blog. From here on we’ll write about new features, the ideas behind the product, and how small and mid-sized companies in the DACH region work more efficiently with vemix. To kick things off, we’d like to explain why vemix exists in the first place.

The problem: too many disconnected tools

Most mid-sized teams work with a patchwork of tools: a CRM for sales, a project tool for delivery, a spreadsheet for time tracking, yet another program for quotes and invoices, and contracts somewhere in between. Each system only knows its own slice of the picture. The result: duplicate data entry, broken workflows, and the same recurring question — “where was that again?”

The idea: one data foundation, all modules

vemix takes the opposite approach. Customers, projects, time, quotes, invoices, contracts and signatures all live on one shared data foundation. Create a customer in the CRM and you can start a project from it, log time, write a quote, turn it into an invoice, and have the related contract signed digitally — without switching applications and without entering the same data twice.

• Time tracking — at your desk and on the go, including leave planning.
• Quotes & invoices — up to e-invoicing (ZUGFeRD/Factur-X).
• Contracts — with a deadline cockpit and automatic deadline detection.
• E-signature — simple electronic signature (SES) with an RFC-3161 timestamp and a verifiable audit trail.

AI that actually takes work off your plate

vemix is AI-native from the ground up. The built-in document AI recognises content in contracts and official letters — down to deadlines and obligations — and automatically files documents against the right records, including from local drives. And through the AI assistant (Claude) you can handle research, create contacts, tasks and entire documents straight from the chat.

Hosted in the EU, GDPR-compliant

It matters to us that your data stays where it belongs. vemix is hosted in the EU and tailored to the needs of the German-speaking mid-market — from the language to invoicing law to data protection.
